OCT.21,2009 On Wednesday, October 21st at 12:35 hours, Newark Fire Dispatch transmitted a"full alarm assignment to 9th Ave and So 13th St - Were getting numerous calls for a house fire". HQ 1E (Deputy Chief Esprolini) arrived on the scene and reported a working fire in the rear of two 2 1/2 story frames. The fire was located at 86 & 88 So 13th St. A second alarm was transmitted and the members of the NFD, utilizing an aggressive interior attack, quickly controlled the fire.. | |
