SEPT.21,2009 The Bloomfield,NJ Fire Department responded to 10 Washington Street on a reported house fire. On arrival heavy fire was showing from the 2nd floor on side A of an Occupied 2.5 story wood frame. Interior lines were stretched and Trucks opened up and conducted searches. The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control in 15 minutes. Companies continued to operate hitting hot spots and checking for extension to the top floor. | |
