SEPT.25,2009 East Orange Fire responded to the corner of N.Grove Street & Rutledge Ave on a reported fire. On arrival a vacant 1.5 story vacant commercial building was fully involved with heavy fire showing out all windows. DC Daley arrived and transmitted the Signal 11. Exterior lines were used to knock down the fire due to the condition of the structure. After the heavy fire was darkened down interior lines went in to mop it up. The fire was under control in 30 minutes. | |
