ATTIC FIRE LARGE 2.5 WOOD FRAME

APRIL 14,2009 The South Orange, NJ Fire Department responded to 211 Irvington Avenue on a reported fire around 3:30pm. The office of two South Orange ophthalmologists was severely damaged. On arrival heavy smoke was showing from Side C of a large 2.5 story wood frame with heavy fire venting out the attic. The Signal 11 was struck on arrival followed by a 2nd Alarm. Firefighters from six departments, including South Orange, Maplewood, Orange, West Orange, East Orange and Irvington, responded to the fire.
