The Roselle Park,NJ Fire Department responded to 240 W.Westfield Avenue on a reported structure fire just after midnight. On arrival the vacant Domani’s Restaurant 100x150 was fully involved in fire. County OEM was activated and Three Alarms were struck bringing Firefighters from Roselle Park, Roselle, Elizabeth, Kenilworth and Cranford to the scene. Command ordered Defensive Operations due to heavy fire through out the structure. Companies operated with Master Streams and Elevated Streams along with exposure lines on Exposure D, a 2.5 wood frame dwelling. The structure was destroyed by the blaze. A historic Roselle Park restaurant built in 1810, was known for its resident ghost was featured on the SciFi channel show "Ghosthunters". The cause of the fire is still undetermined, and the case is under investigation by the Union County Arson Squad.
