OCCUPIED 2.5 STORY WOOD FRAME

FEB.7,2009 The City of Newark,NJ transmitted the box for a fire reported at South 19th Street & Avon Avenue. Battalion 4 reported heavy smoke visible while in route. On arrival of Engine 18 fire was showing from the rear of an occupied 2.5 story wood frame occupied dwelling. Engine Companies went to work as Ladders opened up an conducted searches. The Fire was knocked down fast and placed under control in 20 minutes. No injuries were reported. | |
