FEB.6,2009 As Newark,NJ companies were fighting an All Hands Fire On Ellery Ave in the Vailsberg Section of the City, another Box was transmitted for a smoke condition on the 2nd floor on North 3rd Street off 7th Avenue in the Third Battalion. On arrival heavy smoke was pushing from a 2.5 wood frame. Fire was running the rear walls to the roof line. The Signal 11 was struck putting All Hands to work. A lot of Truck Work was needed to open up to knock out the fire. The fire was held to the rear portion of the dwelling. | |
