2.5 STORY WOOD FRAME

FEB.25,2009 The City of Passaic,NJ transmitted the box for a fire reported at 355 Gregory Avenue. On arrival heavy fire was showing from the top floor of an occupied 2.5 story wood frame. Command struck a 2nd Alarm on arrival. Interior lines pushed into the 3rd floor and made an aggressive interior attack on the fire. Truck 1 & 2 laddered the roof and set up supply lines in case an exterior operation was needed. Interior crews held their ground and knocked out the heavy fire. A 3rd Alarm was struck for relieve and overhaul of the fire building. Mutual Aid companies operated on scene. A few firefighters took some spills on ice but no major injuries were reported. | |
