FEB.27,2009 Around 15:00 hours the Orange Fire Department transmitted a District 2 response for a fire reported at 710 Vally Street. DC Dowd reported smoke in the area while in route and transmitted the Signal 11 on his arrival for smoke showing from a 1 story wood frame commercial building. Fire involved a rear room in the ceiling with extension to the cockloft area. Lines were stretched inside and one to the roof as companies opened the cockloft to knock down the fire. The fire was placed under control in 25 minutes. | |
