"Vacant 2.5 Story Wood Frame"

January 27,2009 East Orange Fire Department responded to 40 Lake Street in Dodd Town on a reported house fire. PD reported the house was going pretty good as FD units were in route. Rescue 1 arrived on scene and reported a working fire on the 1st floor of a vacant 2.5 wood frame with security bars covering the windows. Engine Co.1 arrived and advanced a line into the front to door to attack the fire. DC Mutti assumed command of the incident and transmitted the Signal 11 putting All Hands to work. Dc Mutti Special Called an additional 1&1 to the scene above the All Hands. The fire was contained to the porch, 1st fl and 2nd floor towards the A Side of the dwelling. No injuries were reported and all units were up within the hour. | |
